COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A slightly cooler than average end to the workweek will carry us into the weekend with a typical October cold front. We’re entering a very dry stretch, too.

A cool start to Friday with upper 50s to near 60 degree temperatures. Lots of sunshine during the first half of the day will be followed up by more clouds mid to late afternoon. A cool, gusty breeze throughout the day. Highs will be in the mid 70s.

Partly cloudy Friday night. Cool with temperatures in the 60s during the evening. We’ll have lows early Saturday in the mid to upper 50s.

Mostly sunny and nice for outdoor activities Saturday. Highs will be a little warmer in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.
