HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – A person died following an early Friday morning crash in Hendricks County.

Police were dispatched to the area near 100 E. and US 136 around 4:30 a.m. Friday for a single-vehicle crash.

It appeared a vehicle hit a utility pole and then traveled for a distance on 100 E. before going off the road. The car appeared to be heading north.

Utility crews, firefighters and Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office personnel responded to the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
