TRAVERSE CITY — The bills are coming due for a handful of construction mishaps this summer that damaged some public water and sewer lines in Garfield Township.

The Grand Traverse County Board of Public Works on Thursday approved two budget amendments and invoice payments totaling $92,295 to Team Elmer’s to repair water and sewer lines damaged by construction contractors, among at least four construction-related damage incidents to county utility lines in Garfield Township that occurred over the summer.
