SPENCER, W.Va. (WSAZ) - One of West Virginia’s most celebrated festivals kicked off yesterday.

The West Virginia Black Walnut Festival in Spencer celebrates over 70 years of historic traditions and community fun.

The festival features everything you could want for a hometown fall festival.

Baking contests, live music, a carnival, and of course, a grand parade.

The West Virginia Black Walnut Festival runs through Sunday, October 12.
