PORTLAND, Ore. — Questions linger over Oregon as the state awaits a decision from the courts on whether or not President Donald Trump can deploy federalized National Guard troops to Portland.

Thursday, Oct. 9, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals heard arguments on the legality of sending federalized Oregon National Guard troops to help protect the ICE facility in South Portland. By the end of the day, the court had yet to release their ruling.
