In July, a federal judge sentenced Hankison to 33 months in prison.
Since his conviction and sentencing, Hankison has remained free from federal custody.
On Thursday, Oct. 9, Hankison reported to prison to serve out his sentence. He is now being held at Fort Dix in New Jersey.
