If you're planning to stop by your local Sam's Club to pick up groceries on Sunday, you'll have more time to shop.

The member-based warehouse chain is expanding its Sunday hours to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting Sunday, Oct. 12, Steven Zapata, director of corporate communications at Sam's Club, confirmed to USA TODAY on Oct. 9.

The company will also extend its hours on certain holidays, Zapata said, adding two hours for holidays on which the stores are open.

Michigan is home to 23 Sam's Club warehouses across the state.

Sam's Club is expanding its hours on Sundays due to "overwhelming feedback" from its members, Zapata said.

While Sam's Club warehouses were previously open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
