Shubman Gill celebrated his first Test toss victory as India’s captain on Friday, breaking a streak of six consecutive losses, in the second Test against the West Indies in New Delhi. After winning the toss, Gill opted to bat first, retaining the same playing XI that had dominated the first Test in Ahmedabad by an innings and 140 runs. The moment sparked joyous celebrations within the team. Coach Gautam Gambhir , Axar Patel , and Ravindra Jadeja shared light-hearted banter about the long-awaited toss win. As Gill walked back to his teammates, someone shouted, “Well done, Gill!” Gambhir joked that Jasprit Bumrah had already marked his run-up, expecting yet another lost toss. Bumrah added, “Miyan (Siraj) and I, both,” prompting laughter from the squad. Click here to watch
