A house in Bernardsville that sold for $2.8 million tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Somerset County in the past week.

During the past week, a total of 76 residential real estate sales were registered in the county, with an average price of $938,456, or $349 per square foot.

The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Sept. 29 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $1.4 million, single-family residence at 74 Oxford Place

A single-family residence at 74 Oxford Place in Hillsborough, has been sold. The price was $1,380,000. The house was built in 1998 and has a living area of 3,163 square feet. The price per square foot was $436. The deal was finalized on Aug. 22.
