CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) -- Part of Green Street in Champaign was shut down Friday morning after two vehicles collided at an intersection.

The crash happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Green and Randolph Street. A Pontiac sedan collided with the front driver-side corner of a Lexus SUV.

Officers at the scene told WCIA that no injuries were reported, and the cause of the crash remains unknown. The drivers of the cars gave conflicting accounts in what amounted to a case of "he said, she said," an officer described.

While traffic on Randolph Street was able to get past the crash scene, officers shut down Green Street between the entrance to CVS and State Street. Tow trucks have since removed both cars from the intersection, and Green Street is back open between Randolph and State St
