'Handmaid's Tale's J. Holtham To Pen Graphic Novel 'They Bleed Black'

EXCLUSIVE: The Handmaid’s Tale co-executive producer and TV writer J. Holtham is penning a post-apocalyptic graphic novel for L.A. publishing house Gungnir .

The Bleed Black will tell the story of a family’s perilous journey west to save their son a decade after colossal monsters began ravaging American cities. Gungnir, which is led by Matthew Medney, is expected to release it in 2027.

Drawing the book will be Daz Tibbles, who counts Final Space: The Final Chapter among his work, with Steve Orlando overseeing the project as editor.
