STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The city is planning paving efforts on various Staten Island roadways next week.
Residents should prepare for potential traffic disruptions during the week of Oct. 13, as the Department of Transportation Roadway Repair and Maintenance Division conducts work throughout the borough.
The department’s in-house paving crew will focus daytime operations within Community Board 2, while maintenance crews will work across multiple areas.
Paving and maintenance efforts will likely cause temporary detours and street closures, according to the Department of Transportation.
No work is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 13, in observance of Columbus Day/Indigenous People’s Day.
