Boston Bruins head coach Marco Sturm is impressed with his team’s third line through two games.

Boston has Tanner Jeannot, Fraser Minten, and Mikey Eyssimont as its third line, and it’s been an impressive line. The Bruins signed Jeannot and Eyssimont this offseason, while trading for Minten at the deadline last year.

The third line has brought energy to Boston, and Sturm said it’s very simple as to why they have gotten his trust already.

“Very simple,” Sturm said of his third line, as seen on NESN’s postgame coverage. “They like to grind. They like to work. Defensively responsible. They’re killers for me. They do exactly what I want from a third line.”
