A 'beautiful' garden in the city's east end has attracted passersby to stop and take photographs.
Terri Baxter has scooped an award for her green fingered creation outside her flat in Wellhouse where every nook is bursting with colourful plants in the summer.
The Wellhouse Housing Association tenant received a voucher for best garden from the social homes provider.
Terri said cultivating the green space on Langbar Crescent doesn't even seem like work while local councillor Kevin Lalley described it as an "oasis."
Summing it up as a "wee sanctuary," Terri said: "You can forget all your worries - it is just relaxing. I love it. I don't see it as a work. Nothing is a chore. I am itching to get out and get things done."
