Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 10 (Maxim News): The Central Election Commission is likely to start the process of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list across the country in a phased manner.

EC officials said that the SIR process is likely to start in the states where assembly elections will be held next year.

They said that there will be no special drive in the states where local elections are being held, elections are being held or are underway.
