SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - Southfield School's Pumpkin Shine on Line is returning for a 33rd year.

Pumpkin Shine is an annual event where over 90 pumpkins decorated by local students will "shine" along the walking trails of Betty Virginia Park. Themed displays from local businesses, churches, non-profit organizations, and schools will be present throughout the park.

Pumpkin Shine will feature food from local eateries, along with a variety of activities for guests of all ages, including performances by local school cheerleaders, choir, and dance teams, as well as face painting. Three local school art programs will win cash prizes for their pumpkin displays, voted on by a panel of judges.
