SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - It'll be a while before the smoke clears, as Louisiana Smoke House rolled up this morning to reopen their food truck.

The family owned truck has become a crowd favorite , serving up its southern mix of Louisiana and Texas style barbeque, which has earned its stripes across the Ark-La-Tex.

Truck owner Marcus Williams says people "chase him down" for his ribs, but anything that comes off the smoker seems to be a fan favorite.

"I love smoking meat," said Williams. "We grew up cooking meat over charcoal. We don't use lighter fluid, pecan wood only. I'll get those pits fired up at 4 or 5 am in the morning and let that smoke roll."
