NORTHERN KENTUCKY — Southwest Airlines announced a new nonstop route out of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS).
Flights to Texas will begin in June 2026. Adding Austin means Southwest has grown its 2026 summer schedule at CVG by over 40% over previous summer flights, according to a company release.
Right now, Southwest flies year-round from CVG to Austin, Nashville, Baltimore, Denver, Orlando and Chicago (Midway). They also offer seasonal service to Phoenix.
