ADAMS COUNTY, Neb. —

A wanted man from Pennsylvania was arrested after a pursuit Thursday with Nebraska State Patrol.

Around 9:30 p.m., NSP received information that the man was believed to be traveling through Nebraska in a Mercedes SUV, officials said.

A trooper located the vehicle and the man at a gas station at the Alda interchange on Interstate 80 around 9:40 p.m., the Nebraska State Patrol said.

As the trooper attempted to make contact, the man drove away, ripping the fuel hose away from the vehicle, according to authorities.

The trooper initiated pursuit and the driver fled southbound on Alda Road, with speeds above 120 mph, the Nebraska State Patrol said. After several miles, the driver drove into a corn field, stopped and fled on foot.
