Kingswood man forgot to cancel lottery ticket and won £125,000
A relieved man from Kingswood has revealed how he forgot to cancel a direct debit paying for his lottery ticket - and has now won £125,000. James Adams' fiancee Rohanna Coulthard told James to cancel the direct debit as they saved for their wedding.
The couple shared a £1m pot with seven other neighbours in Kingswood , bordering Bristol, but after their postcode landed the lottery’s weekly Millionaire Street prize. Every ticket was worth £125,000.
Rohanna, 30, is marrying James next June, and the pair have been saving for the big day. But cancelling the ticket slipped his mind and the 31-year-old motion graphic designer ended up banking the whopping amount.
James said: “I was going to stop doing it three months ago then f
