NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The crowd roared as ESPN Sportscenter's team of Matt Barrie and Tom Luginbill took over Berger Family Lawn for a pair of shows before the Tulane vs. East Carolina game on Oct. 9.

This was the first time in Tulane University's history that ESPN has made their way on to campus, bringing some well-deserved national recognition to the football program.

"It's super cool, and I think so deserving to Tulane because we're definitely a team on the up and up, and we're just really going to improve and keep winning games," Tulane student Charlie Barrett said.

"This is fantastic that we're bringing this culture out here. We're bringing that football back to Tulane. And we're going to have a good game," Tulane student Luke Kirchner said.

The excitement for the show was electric
