An Afghan man who arrived in the UK by small boat has been found guilty of threatening to kill Nigel Farage, the leader of the Reform UK party, in a TikTok video posted last year, according to Reuters and The Independent.

Fayaz Khan, 26, was convicted by a jury at Southwark Crown Court of making a threat to kill and will be sentenced next week. He had earlier pleaded guilty to a separate charge of entering Britain illegally.

Prosecutors said Khan posted a video between 12 and 15 October 2024 in which he made gun gestures and said “pop, pop, pop” while responding to a YouTube clip by Farage about illegal
