A viral video appears to show Billie Eilish being suddenly grabbed by a fan in a crowd during her concert on Thursday, Oct. 9, in Miami.
In the video obtained by USA TODAY, Billie walks on the side of the main stage, singing and giving high-fives to fans, who are standing in a crowd behind a barricade.
At one moment, a fan appears to have yanked her arm, causing the "Birds of A Feather" singer to twist and nearly fall on the ground.
Security stepped in, and the singer continued to walk down the aisle, the footage shows. The incident happened during her show at the Kayesa Center.
Social media reacts to incident
The video of the incident has since been widely circulated online and some social media users are condeming the act.
"That’s not being a fan — that’s crossing a line. You can love someone’s art without forgetting they’re human," one person said.
Another user added, "This is so weird real fans don’t do this."
Eilish, 23, is on the road for her second leg of the"Hit Me Hard And Soft Tour." It started in Tokyo, Japan, on Oct. 9 and will end in San Francisco, California, on Nov. 23.
It's not the first time the multi-Grammy Award winner was attacked at one of her shows. In a 2024 incident, she was hit in the face by an object thrown at her from the audience during a performance in Arizona.
