GLOBE, Ariz. — Arizonans in Globe are getting ready for the incoming storms on Friday.

Gila County residents aren’t taking any chances after losing three people to devastating floods just two weeks ago.

There are sandbag pickup locations all over the county:

City Public Works Yard: 150 S. Hagen Road

Downtown by the Teepee near the Globe Public Library: 339 S. Broad St.

Gila County Public Works: 745 Rose Mofford Way

Dixon Rocks & Materials: 1990 E. Ash St.

An emergency curfew will be in effect on Broad Street, from Bailey Street to North Broad Street and Highway 60 from Friday night until Tuesday, according to city officials. The curfew will be in effect from dusk to dawn.
