LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A New Jersey man was arrested Wednesday, after deputies say they found him smuggling over 600 pounds of marijuana in his trailer.

According to the arrest affidavit, Erisner Moreno, 36, was traveling eastbound on I-80, just outside of Lincoln in a Ram truck with New Jersey plates, while pulling an enclosed trailer. a deputy with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office observed him to be following another vehicle very closely.

The deputy conducted a traffic stop where Moreno provided a bill of lading for the last shipment that he delivered. Moreno told the deputy that he had picked up the vehicle in New Jersey, delivered goods to Wyoming and was heading to Chicago to pick up another vehicle, court documents show.

The deputy requested additional units as he knew Moreno
