A missing Southwestern Oklahoma State University Student was found dead near Veterans Lake in Sulphur on Wednesday, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation told News 9 on Thursday.

The finding came after a multi-agency search for 18-year-old Logan Musil, who was reported missing last month.

"You're talking about a tight-knit community and you're talking about a family who's now dealing with their 18-year-old student who had just started his first semester of college, who is now unfortunately dead," said Hunter McKee, Public Information Manager for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The OSBI said the Chief Medical Examiner positively identified the victim as Musil.
