A metro mother was arrested for allegedly shooting at a car near a northwest Oklahoma City school bus stop while the bus was there. Police said none of the students on the bus or the people in the car were hit by gunfire.
"I just thought maybe there was a fist fight or one of the students got the school bus driver because I seen him out there too," said Precious Cox, parent.
Cox came home to an active police scene near Northwest 122nd and Walker Avenue on Wednesday afternoon. At the center of the investigation was an Oklahoma City public school bus with middle school-aged children on board and 32-year-old Lakeeta Dawson.
"Normally it's the kids acting out and being disrespectful," said Cox. "But not a parent."
