Video footage has been played in court of a man kicking a woman in the crotch while she was on the ground after a driving incident.

Shannon Williams of Coulson Place, Orange , was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm while in company for his actions towards the woman on September 6, 2024.

More than a year later, the 34-year-old was in custody when he appeared in Orange Local Court via an audio-visual link to be sentenced on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

According to court documents, the victim was driving east on Margaret Street on September 6, 2024, in the moments before the confrontation.
