CHIPPEWA COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - Trial dates are set in the 2022 homicide case of 10-year-old Illiana (Lily) Peters.

Online court records show the jury trial is scheduled to begin on Nov. 2, 2026, and is scheduled to take place until Nov. 13, 2026.

Carson Peters-Berger, who is now 17 years old, is charged with 1st-degree intentional homicide, 1st degree sexual assault/great bodily harm, and 1st degree child sex assault - contact/intercourse w/ person under 13 and causes great bodily harm in the death of Lily Peters.

In Aug. 2025 a Chippewa County Circuit Court Judge Steven Gibbs granted a change of venue.

The change of venue means either the case will be tried in a new location or jurors from an outside county will be brought here to hear the case. The judge said the price will also need
