PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are going in the right direction on most of their injuries, with outside linebacker Alex Highsmith being upgraded to a full participant in practice on Thursday. Highsmith, who missed two games with a high ankle sprain, is now on the mend and looks to be back against the Cleveland Browns.
In his absence, third-year pass rusher Nick Herbig has played like nothing short of a superstar. He has 2.5 sacks, 14 pressures, and eight quarterback hits over the two and a half games of relief he has played in throughout that time.
Highsmith had a sprained ankle last season and missed multiple games after going down with the injury. He also missed time this offseason and last year with a groin injury that continuously has popped up throughout his career.
