EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State University held its homecoming celebrations on Friday, and that means crowds, parades, and money for East Lansing.
Local restaurants, bars and hotels say it’s one of their busiest times of year.
Businesses told News 10 they’re bracing for nonstop crowds.
“Homecoming, it’s pretty crazy around here, as evidence by the fact that my Cisco driver showed up four hours early this morning because they want to get out of town because they know the traffic is going to be crazy,”said Michael Kreuger with Crunchy’s in East Lansing.
“All the restaurants are going to be busy, all the bars are going to be busy. We just hope that people have patience with us because we’re turning over as quick as as we possibly can, we can promise you that.”
