BEAVERTON, Ore. (KPTV) - A 29-year-old man is facing several charges in connection with a stabbing that happened last month, according to the Beaverton Police Department.
Austin Lee Miles Moreno was indicted by a Washington County grand jury on Thursday for attempted murder, second-degree assault, and unlawful use of a weapon.
The charges stem from a stabbing that happened on Sept. 20 at about 11:20 p.m. near Columbia Bank at 12255 Southwest 1st Street. Police say a man was found with multiple stab wounds and taken to a hospital for treatment.
According to police, the victim and Moreno are both homeless and had been staying near the bank. The victim told investigators he was asleep when he was attacked.
Moreno was arrested on Oct. 2 and booked into the Washington County Jail.
