MOUNT VERNON, Ohio (WOIO) - Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raided a Mexican restaurant in Mount Vernon on Thursday afternoon.

According to a statement from the City of Mount Vernon, at around 12:30 p.m., the city became aware of an ICE operation at Pancho’s Tacos.

Mount Vernon Police Department and the city’s law director did not recieve communication or coordination from ICE about the timing, scope, or nature of this operation, according to the city.
