Former MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace is suing the BBC and one of its subsidiaries after being sacked in July.

His dismissal followed an investigation into historical allegations of misconduct, which upheld multiple accusations against him.

Mr Wallace, 60, is now claiming up to £10,000 in damages from the corporation, and BBC Studios Distribution Limited, after they allegedly caused him 'distress and harassment' by failing to disclose his personal data, court documents show.

The BBC and BBC Studios have filed a defence to the claim.
