Strictly Come Dancing’s Stefan Dennis has broken silence after pulling out of a live show as he provided a 'sorry to disappoint' admission.

Just hours before the remaining 14 celebrities and their professional dance partners were due to take to the dancefloor, it was announced that Stefan and Dianne Buswell would not be taking part.

The Neighbours actor, who played Paul Robinson for nearly four decades, is said to have been suffering from ‘illness in recent days’.

As a result of his illness, Stefan and Dianne will receive a bye which sends them through to the fourth live show, set to be held on Saturday, October 18.
