Steve Clarke is considering handing a shock Scotland call-up for Josh Mulligan. ‌

The Hibs midfielder has made a storming start to the season and that has put him on his international radar. ‌

Clarke is looking to call up replacements for Lewis Ferguson and Ryan Christie who are suspended for Sunday’s vital home World Cup qualifier with Belarus. ‌

The international boss is looking at his options but Mulligan and Rangers midfielder Connor Barron are likely to fill those voids.

Barron has been in several squads and made his debut in the international friendly with Liechtenstein in June.

Mulligan is uncapped but was a regular in the Scotland Under-21s when he was at Dundee. ‌

The 22-year-old was out of contract in the summer and moved to Hibs then.
