MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The Monroe Police Department has arrested two men accused of rape and sexual battery.

In the affidavit, officials say 18-year-old Jeremy Ambers and 18-year-old Jordan Daniel were arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 8, following an investigation that began on Sept. 28, 2025.

MPD reports the 12-year-old victim’s mother found messages disclosing sexual abuse between the victim and Ambers and Daniel.

A search warrant was obtained for the victim’s phone, where more evidence was located, MPD says.

Officials say the victim was also interviewed at the Children’s Advocacy Center and disclosed that the two men had sexually abused her.

Ambers and Daniel have each been charged with one count of first degree rape and one count of sexual battery. Their bonds have each been set at $150,
