Friday morning, the Accurate Energetic Systems (AES) facility in Bucksnort, Tennessee, exploded. The company produces and stores explosives, including demolition kits and products used from the military and aerospace industry, its website says.
WSMV reported that there are "multiple" people who were presumed dead, and photos and videos of the building show significant damage.
In fact, the explosion was so substantial that WSMV meteorologist Stefano DiPietro reported that the station's weather radars, which scan the area, picked up the explosion and its aftermath.
WMCA news showed aerial footage showing a leveled building, a few cars on fire, and a large debris field.
