CHATSWORTH, Ga. (WDEF) — 61-year-old Norman Baity has been found guilty of aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, and ten counts of child molestation.

A Murray County jury gave the verdict on October 8, 2025.

The two victims of Baity were aged five and six years old.

Evidence showed that he was babysitting the two children while their parents were Christmas shopping on December 14, 2024.

While the parents were gone, he had committed immoral and indecent acts with the children.

When the parents returned, the children immediately told them what had happened.
