The city recently repainted the crosswalk and I biked over it shortly after it reopened. While it didn’t look quite as terrible as the first time, it was also already quickly covered in tire marks.

If you follow any of Cornwall’s Facebook commentariat, posts both decrying the crosswalk as a waste of money and suggesting crosswalks generically celebrating veterans instead have abounded in recent weeks.
