This may seem out of the blue, but Russell Westbrook might be done with the NBA, for now. While former star Enes Kanter called out the Lakers for using Westbrook as a scapegoat, the 36-year-old’s still teamless as the new season looms. He had a decent run with the Denver Nuggets last year, averaging 13.3 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game. Good stats, but perhaps not good enough.

Now, that’s where China comes in. Word on the street is Westbrook could get a huge short-term deal overseas. And we’re talking big money, nearly four times what the Kings could offer. If it’s real, it could make him one of the highest-paid foreign players in the Chinese league.
