Members of the Logan Heights community have had enough of the filthy bathrooms at their local Memorial Park, where their kids play and families gather.
Parents say the condition of the bathrooms at the park along 30th Street and Ocean View Park has been a concern for years, and they're worried for their kids' health and safety. Despite complaints to the city, they say the problem is worse than ever.
Rueben Quintero with Memorial Park Little League said the field, where dozens of kids play sports every day, has been through years of neglect.
“We are one of the oldest leagues. You think it would be better, we would have better here, especially one particular area—the bathrooms," Quintero said. “They look like a homeless encampment."
