TULARE, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is dead after a double shooting in Tulare late Thursday night.

It happened before 11 pm near the intersection of F Street and King Avenue, by the Tulare Senior Citizen Center.

Police have not said what led up to the shootings.

When police arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds. One was found unresponsive.

Both were rushed to the hospital, where one victim died on Friday. The other is expected to survive.

Authorities have not released his name.
