MONMOUTH, Ill. (KWQC) - One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash between Monmouth and Cameron Friday morning.

A car crashed at about 9:50 a.m. on 180th Avenue, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

When deputies arrived, officials said they found the driver dead.

The driver was the only person in the car at the time of the crash, deputies said.

The name of the driver is being withheld pending family notification.

Illinois State Police are investigating.
