GALENA, Ill. (KWQC) - A man was pulling a cattle trailer had a medical event and left the road, hitting a vehicle and a house on Friday.

The driver of the GMC 3500 was pulling a cattle trailer when his truck and trailer left the road hitting an unoccupied car and then a house at West Council Hill and North Meridian roads at 7:55 a.m. Friday, according to a crash report by the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver was taken to the local hospital for treatment of the medical emergency and crash injuries, officials said.

The Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating.
