The NDP is making one final push ahead of election day next Tuesday.

Leader Jim Dinn gathered with some of his candidates and supporters in Harbourside Park over the lunch hour for one final rally, before focusing on door-knocking over the Thanksgiving Weekend.

Dinn says the last few weeks have been a “blur,” and they have been receiving an encouraging response at the doors.

When asked what take home message would be heading into election day, Dinn points to the PCs agreeing with a lot of their messaging during the debate, and the Liberals taking the HST off of electricity bills – an idea that the NDP championed in the House of Assembly.

Dinn argues that many of the ideas out there to make people’s lives better are coming from the NDP, and are ones they have been pushing for.
