CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department handled 23 calls for service on Thursday, October 9, 2025 , ranging from domestic disturbances and theft investigations to several traffic-related incidents across the city.

Officers first responded just before 4 a.m. to North Bridge Street , where they assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a reported road rage incident near Raising Cane’s. The investigation remains ongoing.

Later in the morning, police were called to Caldwell Street after a resident reported a damaged vehicle , which is being investigated as criminal mischief . Additional calls included two non-injury traffic crashes involving assured clear distance violations — one on East Water Street and another on Pawnee Road .
