PORTLAND, Ore. (GFU Athletics) -- On day two of the Pacific Invitational, the George Fox women's golf team achieved their first win of the 2025 season. As a team, they moved up after a day-one second-place effort finished with a score of 622 (+54) and win the tournament.

Leading the Bruins and getting second overall was Ashlyn Johnson. With a total score of 76 (+9), she earned two birdies and had high-quality play throughout the day. Right behind her was Sofia Itziar Ayesa — another top finisher— in third place, 78 (+14) who also had a stellar day on the green. Samara D'Silva was next for George Fox; she tied for sixth and had an overall total of 79 (+16). D'Silva had one birdie on the seventh hole to count to her record
