Provincial police in the Upper Ottawa Valley have been busy over the last few days with two driving incidents. Article content

On Thursday, police received a traffic complaint in Pembroke and, after a short search, tracked down a suspect on Stuart Street. Police interviewed the man and transported him to the detachment for testing.

The 42-year-old Pembroke resident was charged with impaired operation of a vehicle (drugs) along with two counts of failing to comply with release order and one count of “possession of a schedule I substance..’

His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.
