CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — The administrator of the estate of Bryan Lee Howard has filed a wrongful death lawsuit Friday against the Harrison County Commission, a former county sheriff and two deputies, alleging reckless conduct led to the death of his brother.

The suit was filed in the Circuit Court of Harrison County by Trevor Moore, as administrator for the estate of Howard, and names the Harrison County Commission, former sheriff Robert Matheny, John Doe Deputy 1 and John Doe Deputy 2 as defendants.

A message seeking comment wasn't immediately returned by Harrison County Administrator Laura Pysz. The county likely will first consult with its insurance litigation team before commenting.
